MASON GUNNER
THE MARINE JEDI
Click Banner for Full Story: Masons expression softened when he saw his master reach for his training weapon. How could he have instantly forgot about the incident that happened to him during what they named The Great Smite. In a way, the name made him aware. How can something as smiting gods be great? Were they really being freed? He had known many demigods, all of them seemed to be good but that was because they had the human experience. What it felt like to be a person like every one else, to connect with life? Thats what the force was about right? The connection of life? Its such a vague idea but also very complexed in the details of how or why it works. Raf helped him think this way, the mediations helped too. Still, he wasn't to the level of wisdom he would want to be. sometimes it was hard relating the practice with modern living.
" I'm sorry. It must be difficult, adapting to something new...but when you go through it. You'll feel a surge of power, but you'll learn to control it. Just as I am learning to control mine now. " The experience through California made him dwell in his own strength, in fact. He remembered being hungry for it, he remembered the impossible things being possible and it was addicting. What would happen to it, if you suddenly lose control because of simple human emotions? ones you find difficult in controlling. ones you oppressed that wants to be released. " I have an hour of meditation left. You can join me if you wish.. or if you want to just, sit and chat?" Masons brows raised. "I know," Raf replied with a soft smile, grateful to not have to do the training session at the moment. "Most of the motor control is back. So... I can move it, but we need to do a few more tests before we're ready to try adding sensation," He sat back down across from the Jedi with a soft smile, holding a hand out for Mason to join him. "I do actually have another training for you," he said, furrowing his brow softly. "You mentioned this earlier, and I know how much it means to you." He paused a second as a soft smile grew. "If you see yourself as ready, I believe it is time for the next phase of your training." "I think it's time for you to begin considering your lightsaber."

Mason GunnerI was born in Anaheim, California. Since it was so close to the beach, I kind of grew up there and found my passion for surfing. I was lucky enough to be drafted in the peace corps and was sent all over the world to experience the different kinds of beaches. Every country seemed to have their own feel to it, but none of which is nothing compared to the one at home. Categories
