Mysticism
A community for Mystic Complexes
The ore has sent out a message to meet with certain leaders outside of Asgaloth influence. After Luxon had a meeting with his top paying contributers and high class aristocrats they had agreed on the generals plan of recruiting magic of all sort. If Gaia and Asgaloth were meant to merge in the future they must befriend the magic users of the other realm. They too are in threat of existence and hold a strong role for the Ores agenda. Necromancers were banned through mystic laws, but it's time they earned their spot on the role of destructive magic. Classifying them as illegal practice was a form of suppression from those who feared their magic wasn't antiquate enough. Luxon has heard of the powerful Magi societies in Gaia realm, how the Avari-Batons had control of the magical communities until they were discovered. It's through the fault of the superior movements that the search increased dramatically, effecting their communities and breaking the order that was once controlled. The Avari-Batons had strong ties with the Reaper Organization, whom from what Luxon heard; befriended death itself. The Ore remains from the destroyed collection of Crystals that followed Chancellor Garnet. The group of mystics believe that it's the type of magic you wield determines your role in society. Those who heal protect and those who possess the destructive knowledge be used for protection and security. Those who believe in a strong mystic tradition follow the Ore, putting mystic affairs to the front line. Many crystal lineage now have influence in the group, since its funded by the rich and powerful of Asgaloth.
Known as the opposition through the years of Chancellor Garnet, this shrinking group of rebels were able to withstand the violent decisions the Chancellor had against them. They had to operate within the shadows of Asgaloth realm cause those who publically opposed the acts of the Chancellor were considered to be treacherous. They were able to aid Avalon when the mystics invaded knowing full well they would need their support against the majority.
After the Chancellors death, many of his bindings were broken and shattered alliances to their own agenda. The Order of the Quill follows the philosophy of diplomacy and reasoning in order to better the future. Although bodies can easily be broken, words can spread and strive even after death. |
