Another night and all Roxas could do was stare at the ceiling. They had slowly been narrowing their orbit toward Earth, but he still didn't have enough justification to actually move toward the surface. Every swing close brought the voice back, urging him to return. He couldn't take strange voices and memories to the Captain. He was having a difficult enough time of things without his Executive Officer showing signs of needing recalibration. That was the other concern. Whatever this was, Roxas' heart was telling him that he couldn't go under the procedure. There was something from his past that was calling to him, and until he knew what it was, he had to stay the course. Arius eyes shot open as he sat up from his bed, the same plain apartment room as usual. His dirty clothes on the floor, his broken clock that he was too lazy to change the battery out, a couple of band posters on the wall and his dresser. He sat up shirtless and was only in his jogging pants as he got up to look out the blinds. When he did, he could see the beach front with no life as usual. Arius opened the window and opened it to let in the fresh air, the sound outside completely quiet except for the rush of the ocean waves. He picked up his hoodie and slid it on before sliding on his sneakers to make his way outside. He stepped out of the apartment and continued down the familiar path way which evidently lead him to a light house shaped like a trident.
Rueben sat down on the living room arm chair and ran his fingers through his hair. The sound of Sesame Street was in the background and apparently there was a game of thrones musical chair episode that more or less entertained him while he watched the kids. Luckily, both of them were passed out. Mateo had some cookies, he knew after giving a few he would tire himself out and pass out in the living room while the youngest continued to sleep anyway! it was only when Mateo was awake that Drew is more or less forced to stay awake from all the noises. Although he was tired, this wasn't the first time had to watch both kids while Rosie continued her schooling through fashion. They often took turns but most of the time Rueben was left to do most of it. Thankfully, he had good friends around the neighborhood that more less kept him sane.

A light rain fell over the city of Zion, almost like a mist. Despite the desert locale, it had started raining here quite a bit, to the point that some wild crops were starting to grow on the outskirts of the small village. More and more, the people were starting to believe in the power that Conner had brought, and particularly, the powerful, life giving father who seemed to be giving them his blessing. Very few noticed that almost every big rainstorm included lightning, thinking it normal in the world they had emerged into. For Drew, the truth was fairly obvious: the storms coincided with the fairly quiet training sessions his brother and Connor had been having two or three miles outside of the village.
Senator Lilac made his way over to his main office where he called his staff together, they all knew that he was going to this meeting and that were probably eager on the kind of news he got from the candidate that won the Presidency. He was amazed to see how noticable it was, that there isn't as much press following them around after the announcement was given. It was a bitter sweet feeling, but in the pit of his heart he felt as if he was going to win. He had alot of support, but are many of the Americans really fall into the line of fear? In a way, he can understand why they're fearful. They live in fearful times where theres wars happening in every direction. Still, he wanted to be that light to guide everyone in the right way, but America practically spoke to tell him that they weren't ready to have that kind of Unity.
Featuring: "Why did I even let you talk us into drinking on the roof?" Clark gave an exasperated look as he sat next to his friend Spencer on the 1 AM bus route. They were familiar with the roads since they go out alot and this night happened to be a party at one of the popular students in school. His parents left to visit family on the other side of the country, so why not take advantage of it since his birthday was coming around the corner anyway. Apparently everyone was invited, it didn't mean that the click circles were different, in fact it made things even more awkward when him and Spencer were standing in the corner just watching.
